BNA Bookdesign

For the dutch architecture association BNA Amsterdam I worked on several publications. The following book "Zoorg voor leegstand" is about the reuse of old office buildings for a medical purpose.

Lyon Pitch

This proposal was part of a pitch for the Biennale Lyon 2011 and is using a range of eleven colors which run between two titles or quotes. The variety of colors is creating an open atmosphere and welcomes the visitor.

IISG

The International Institute of Social History in Amsterdam received a new Corporate Design. The logo reflects the goal of the archive to focus and aim for only social occurrences. It is being used as a focus frame while original archive material is incorporated in the design.

Angrykatze

The new logotype and portfolio website for the Berlin based french company Angrykatze gained a simple and recognizable design which created a suitable strong environment for their work.

Items Magazine Design

At my time at Thonik in Amsterdam I was able to work on three issues of the famous dutch magazine Items. Next to the design of the covers, each issue got a special layout design and concept. All covers came with a special foil print.

Cultuur Ondernemen

Thonik developed a new house style for the dutch company ´Cultuur Ondernemen´ which mainly supports start-ups in the cultural sector. This new concept of a corporate brochure communicates the variety of subjects. A circle suits as the main design tool.

Babylon

In 2007 I designed the Corporate Identity for the movie theater Babylon Berlin Mitte. As promotion of the new identity the cinema Babylon projected short movies on different famous places in Berlin.

Poster Design

On different occasions I created the following poster concepts. The first poster is a presentation of the personality of Anton Corbijn. A complex text and the photo of the artist had to fit the A0 format which was exhibited in the Hague as one in a row of many famous dutchmen.

Hello I am Sven Neitzel and I am a Diplom Graphic Designer from Germany. I am located in Berlin and my work is mainly focused on branding, corporate design and visual communication. Through this I worked for international clients as well as for national clients in a variety of media. My conceptional approach is the key point in all designs I do. My work is highly influenced through my work experience in the Netherlands which formed my style and design thinking in both ways.
